What does SIL include?
- Up to 24/7 support from qualified staff
- Cleaning and laundry assistance
- Shower and personal care support

- Assistance with booking appointments
What is not included?
- Grocery expenses
- Rent or accommodation
- Utilities such as gas, electricity, water, phone, internet
- Household budgeting and paying bills
- Travel or holiday expenses
- Personal care whilst in hospital
- Items covered in other sections of the NDIS
- Costs related to Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
How do I apply for SIL?
- Contact your Support Coordinator and let them know you would like to apply for SIL.
- A number of allied health assessments will be required to establish whether you are eligible.
- Your Support Coordinator will then lodge your change of circumstances with the NDIS.
- Once approved, we can assist you in finding suitable accommodation.
