Located in the main office and open from 10am to 12pm Monday to Friday. Items range from coffee, sugar, toiletries, biscuits, postage stamps etc.
A chip and chocolate and drink machine is located on site as a little extra for all residents. Prices are kept as low as possible for affordability and convenience.
Access to Disability Work Program located in Gatton, eligible residents may apply to work up to three days per week. Application packs are available from the office.
A bus service runs through Minden Cross Roads Monday to Friday. Residents wishing to use this service need to speak to staff at the office. Connecting trains can be met at Ipswich or Roma Street Station.
A mini bus is used for transporting residents to shopping days, local appointments etc. The bus is booked when available and at the managers discretion depending on the availability of staff. Special trips will incur an additional fee.
A pay phone is located in the main dining room so residents can telephone family and friends. Residents are also able to access incoming calls from this phone. Please ask at the office for the telephone number.
Staff may offer assistance to residents when dealing with Centrelink, The Public Trustee of QLD, The Public Guardian, Medicare, Medical Appointments, Transport, Ambulance Services etc. this may incur additional fees.
